All 12 of Denzel Valentine’s points came on threes and he added four rebounds and two steals in his 22 minutes in the Bulls’ win Tuesday.
Valentine going 4-for-8 on the night is an encouraging sign as he shot a dreadful 35 percent from the field last season. With Zach LaVine still recovering from knee surgery, Valentine is poised to play a significant role for the Bulls until he is back. They will need offense from wherever they can get it, so don’t be surprised to see Valentine chucking it up early and often from deep. He is more of a deep league guy at the moment, but if this new found efficiency sticks, he may be worth a look in standard leagues since the minutes will be there.
