Denzel Valentine hit a buzzer-beater at the end of overtime (VIDEO BELOW) to give the Bulls the NBA’s Summer League championship, finishing with five points, three assists, eight boards, two steals and one three-pointer.
Valentine struggled all night until the final few seconds of the fourth quarter, when he nailed an open three-pointer to tie the game with 0.2 seconds left in regulation to send the game in to overtime. Despite the fact that he was held scoreless in the first three quarters, he came up big when the Bulls needed someone to hit a big shot for the title. Valentine nailed the game-winner at the end of overtime for the Bulls win. The rookie could have played better in summer league, but he sure finished strong.
