Deron Williams played 31 minutes in a loss to the Nuggets on Monday, finishing with 23 points on 9-of-18 from the field to go with 2-of-3 from the line, three 3-pointers, one board, eight dimes, one steal and three turnovers.
D-Will really showed up tonight and rewarded owners with his points, efficiency from the field, treys, and dimes. When he’s not hobbled by some random injury, the guy can really produce as a fantasy asset. In his last eight games, Williams has been just outside of the top-50 on averages of 16.8 points, 1.8 triples, 6.6 dimes, 44.4% from the field and 94.7% from the stripe. Sell high if you can as the Mavs are going nowhere this year and his next injury is just a random misstep away. Getting back a solid, non-injury prone top-75 guy would be a blessing.
