• Derrick Favors finished with 10 points, 10 boards and two steals on 5-of-12 from the field on Monday against the Thunder.

This was Favors’ first double-double of the season and first since April 8, 2016. The big man had had a rough year and hasn’t even cracked the top-200 this season. This is a far cry from his top-30 per game ranking from a season ago. Injuries have taken their toll on the seven-year forward as well as losing usage to better players, increased depth and a defensive minded, slow paced approach that the Jazz use. Add all these up and you see why Favors has fallen so far. Feel free to cut bait if you see a more attractive option on the wire.
