• Derrick Favors made his first appearance since March 6th on Friday, scoring 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting with five rebounds and a steal in 17 minutes.

Coach Quin Snyder was very complimentary of Favors’ performance after this one, crediting a lot of this win to the big man’s nice night off the bench. It’s certainly nice to see him out there even if this season has been a total wash. Pre-season injury concerns pushed his ADP down but unless he fell past the 150 mark you didn’t recoup any value. That is to say that it’s been a major bust. With the ascension of Rudy Gobert, it remains to be seen how involved a fully-healthy Favors will be in Utah. He makes for a risky pick next year, albeit one with lots of upside.
