April 3, 2019, 12:02 amDerrick WhiteG, San Antonio Spurs
Derrick White hit 10-of-12 field goals, good for 23 points to go with four rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and two blocks on Tuesday vs. the Hawks.
White is hovering around top-100 value over the last month, but he's had stretches where he's been much better (mainly when he's getting his blocks). Other efficient guards Bryn Forbes and Patty Mills went 7-for-11 with five threes and 5-for-9 with four threes, respectively.
December 8, 2019, 9:48 pmTim Hardaway Jr.SF, Dallas Mavericks
Tim Hardaway Jr. went off against the Kings on Sunday as he put up 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting.
Hardaway Jr. knocked down nine 3-pointers and added two assists and one steal to the stat sheet. THJ has looked great since he has been inserted in the starting lineup and provides supplementary scoring to Luka Doncic. He has been a top-50 option over the last two weeks and should be owned in all formats.
December 8, 2019, 9:43 pmLuka DoncicPG-SF, Dallas Mavericks
Luka Doncic stuffed the stat sheet on Sunday as always as he put up 27 points with seven rebounds and eight assists in a 110-106 loss to the Kings.
Doncic is looking like an MVP candidate early in the season, so much so that you could say this was not one of his better performances. He shot just 10-of-24 from the field and had six turnovers. Nonetheless, he is a top-10 option this season and has minimal weaknesses.
December 8, 2019, 9:43 pmBradley BealSG, Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal got the clamps put on his game Sunday vs. the Clippers, going for 20 points (5-of-18 FG, 9-of-9 FT), five assists, one 3-pointer and three turnovers.
Beal received a technical foul in this game as he was getting frustrated with the proceedings. He will undoubtedly do better next time out. His fellow starting guard did not do much better, as Ish Smith went 6-of-15 from the field on his way to 14 points, four assists and five turnovers. Troy Brown had a great night with 22 points (9-of-12 FG), two 3-pointers, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Smith is worth a pickup in most standard leagues as he is starting and Troy Brown is worth monitoring.
December 8, 2019, 9:32 pmBen SimmonsPG, Philadelphia Sixers
Ben Simmons puts up 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in a win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Simmons shot 8-of-11 from the field and turned the ball over five times. Simmons is great for rebounds, assists, steals and field goal percentage, but the threes and free throws will continue to hold him back. Regardless, he is a top-40 option.
December 8, 2019, 9:30 pmRui HachimuraPF, Washington Wizards
On Sunday, Rui Hachimura went 7-of-7 from the line on his way to 17 points, (5-of-14 FG) alongside seven rebounds and four assists.
It was not Hachimura's greatest night, but he continues to put up numbers for the Wizards who have no problem generating plenty of fantasy stats every day of the week. He is certainly worth a pickup if he is still available in your league.
December 8, 2019, 9:27 pmJoel EmbiidC, Philadelphia Sixers
Joel Embiid (left hip contusion) returned on Sunday and put up 10 points with eight rebounds and six assists on 3-of-7 shooting.
Embiid turned the ball over seven times and missed his only attempt from beyond the arc. He has struggled against Marc Gasol, so we could chalk his lackluster performance up to that. He should bounce back next game and look like his dominant early-round self.
December 8, 2019, 9:23 pmMatisse ThybulleSG-SF, Philadelphia Sixers
Matisse Thybulle put up 20 points with three steals in 32 minutes in a 110-104 win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Thybulle led the bench in minutes and showed up on both ends of the floor as he added three steals and one block to the stat sheet. He shot 6-of-9 from the field and knocked down five triples. He is flashing his potential as a tremendous 3-and-D asset, but he is relegated to deep-league defensive specialist until he does this consistently.
December 8, 2019, 9:20 pmDavis BertansF, Washington Wizards
Davis Bertans did it again on Sunday vs. the Clippers, going for 25 points (7-of-13 FG, 5-of-6 FT), six 3-pointers and steal.
Bertans is lights out from deep, and has the greenest of lights any shooter can get. With Thomas Bryant absent for the time being he will get plenty of minutes, and he clearly is capable of returning mid-round value with them.
December 8, 2019, 9:19 pmKyle LowryPG, Toronto Raptors
Kyle Lowry scored 26 points with six rebounds and five assists in a loss to the Sixers on Sunday.
Lowry shot 7-of-14 from the field and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. He played a team-high 38 minutes as well, which could be due in some part to Fred VanVleet exiting the game early with an injury. Lowry and VanVleet have been one of the better backcourt duos to own in fantasy as they are both inside top-20 value.
December 8, 2019, 9:16 pmSerge IbakaPF, Toronto Raptors
Serge Ibaka put up 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting before fouling out in 28 minutes in a loss to the Sixers on Sunday.
Ibaka added seven rebounds, three assists and three turnovers to the box score. Ibaka and Marc Gasol are struggling this season as they are both just outside top-150 value. Gasol had a terrible night as he put up zero points on 0-of-6 shooting. Neither guy is worth owning in standard leagues, but Ibaka looks like the preferred option of the two.
