Derrick White led the Spurs to a 118-108 Game 3 win over the Nuggets on Thursday with 36 points on 15-of-21 shooting while adding five rebounds, five assists, three steals, a block and a 3-pointer.

This was easily White's best game of his career and it came during the biggest game of the season. He had 26 points by halftime and he didn't take his foot off the gas. Coach Popovich definitely helped by running him off constant off-ball actions and screens to set him up against a slow-footed Nikola Jokic, but White made some incredible shots tonight. His defense was also swarming as he suffocated Gary Harris and Jamal Murray tonight and his breakthrough game tonight gives the Spurs a 2-1 series lead and the franchise a lot to look forward to.
