Devin Booker played 33 minutes in a loss to the Clippers on Monday, finishing with 13 points (4-of-15 from the field, 4-of-6 from the line), one 3-pointer, one rebound, two assists, two steals and three turnovers.
Booker hasn’t been good recently…or all season long for that matter. His high scoring outbursts are cute, but his treys aren’t that impressive considering all the hype he gets as a shooter. All the comparisons to Klay Thompson are almost laughable right now and D-Book’s field goal percentage is gross on most nights. He’s young and can turn it around since he has all the leash in the world, but for now, he’s just not fantasy ready. Because of his name value, he might be able to return you someone decent in a trade. We’ll green light any asset that can bring back top-120 value or the rest of the season.
