Devin Booker played 29 minutes in a loss to the Wolves on Monday, finishing with 18 points on 6-of-15 from the field to go along with 5-of-6 from the line, one 3-pointer, two boards, three assists, one block and two turnovers.
Booker has disappointed his owners by being a top-200 player this year despite being drafted in the early to mid-rounds. He’s in the same boat as Andrew Wiggins because they are both inefficient shooters from the field, don’t contribute much by way of defensive stats, and turn the ball over a bunch. What keeps everyone interested in Booker is his points output and his ability to hit triples. He’s only 20, but it’s hard to expect him to become a solid fantasy asset with the lack of money counters. Look to sell to anyone who has a fascination with him for a sure ROS top-75 outlook.
