According to Earl K. Snead of Mavs.com, Devin Harris knows he won’t be playing much PG this year after the Mavs drafted Dennis Smith Jr. in the first round.
Harris acknowledged what has been clear to most who follow the Mavs. The 13-year veteran finds himself in a crowded backcourt rotation this upcoming season featuring DSJ, Yogi Ferrell, J.J. Barea, Wesley Matthews and Seth Curry with Harris likely at the bottom of the totem pole. He mentioned his goal to play more SG as well as even SF to find playing time but he is likely to find himself riding the pine all game more often than not. Harris’ fantasy contributions will be non-existent this season, leave him on the wire in all leagues.
