Dillon Brooks finished Friday’s loss with a team-high 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, knocking down two triples while adding three rebounds and an assist.
Brooks more or less vanished after a great opening night but has turned it back on for the tanking Grizzlies. He’s averaging 18.0 points per game over his last five and is receiving more than 30 minutes per game since February. His bounce back began in January when the Grizzlies more or less folded up shop but he remains outside the top-200 over the last two weeks, so unless you really need points it’s best to leave Brooks for deep league consideration. Similarly, Ben McLemore picked up a hollow 14 points tonight, adding just four boards and two threes in 28 minutes. He’s a slightly more appealing target than Brooks but don’t go crazy — both players are in pretty similar circumstances fantasy-wise.
