Spencer Dinwiddie scored 15 points to go with four triples, four assists, a steal and a block in 22 minutes while DeMarre Carroll filled it up with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes as the Nets demolished the visiting Wizards on Friday.
Dinwiddie had a great night considering the minutes here and he’s now up to top-75 returns on the full season. He’s been even better in the past two weeks, posting top-55 numbers, and it certainly looks as though he’ll be among the finalists for waiver pickup of the year. Carroll has predictably fallen off somewhat after a great start, and even though he’s been on the cut line over the last two weeks he’s still a top-100 guy on the season. Looking relatively spry, Carroll’s lines resemble those from his effective days in Atlanta. Give him another couple weeks to work through this mini-slump.
