According to the Miami Herald, Dion Waiters is the front-runner to start at shooting guard for the Heat.
Waiters had a strong showing in the playoffs for OKC, but after total of 125 games in a Thunder jersey the team decided it was time to move on. With the recent injury to Josh Richardson and the unfortunate news about Chris Bosh, the Heat are looking to fill the holes in their rotation. Given the minutes Waiters is projected to receive, his value is best suited for 14-16 team leagues and would be worth a look late in drafts. Last season he averaged 9.8 points on 39.9 percent shooting in 27.6 minutes per game.
