• According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Dirk Nowitzki intends to play at least two more seasons.

    “I always said I wanted to kind of take it year by year,” Nowitzki said. “But signing a two-year deal doesn’t mean I necessarily have to play those two years. I think we’ll see how next year goes, how the body responds, and then we’ll make that decision again next year. But obviously, I would love to play the next two years and then just see how it goes”. Nowitzki posted averages of 18.3 points, 1.7 3-pointers and grabbing 6.5 boards per game on 44.8 percent from the field. Even at 38-years old, he should continue to provide the similar numbers to the last couple of seasons, making him a solid mid-round pick.
