Donovan Mitchell scored a team-high 26 points in Saturday’s loss, picking up three triples, two rebounds, an assist and a steal while shooting 11-of-16.
That efficiency is huge for a guy who’s shooting .417 on the year. If Mitchell can bring that up by a couple percentage points we would be looking at a serious asset, but for now this should be viewed as an anomaly. Regardless, Mitchell’s long-term future is looking incredibly bright and he’s been leaving opposing beat writers in awe on a nightly basis. His keeper owners have to be feeling great right about now, and there’s no way he gets yanked from the starting lineup this year. Mitchell isn’t a perfect fantasy player, but he’s already a damn good one.
