The Jazz ended L.A.’s six-game winning streak on Saturday night with a 125-113 decision, paced by Donovan Mitchell‘s 23 points, five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.
Mitchell shot just 4-of-7 from the charity stripe but was 9-of-16 from the floor, so owners will probably trade the uncharacteristically poor free throws for the overall efficiency. The ROY candidate just keeps on rolling and will finish in the middle-rounds this season. Full marks to Mitchell, who has played his way off the bench and into huge minutes halfway through his first season. He’s going to be one of the NBA’s exciting players to watch going forward.
