Donovan Mitchell scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting with three 3-pointers in Monday’s 116-69 annihilation of the Wizards.
Mitchell has been exhilarating all year for the Jazz and they’ve filled in the scoring void that Gordon Hayward has left behind. On the year he’s the No. 85 player in 9-cat leagues and is averaging 16.4 points, 2.3 3s, 3.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks on 40.2 percent shooting. His shooting will probably stay around that mark for the season, but he’s adding those sweet ancillary stats as a rookie and the future is bright for Mitchell. He’s in the discussion for waiver wire pickup of the year.
