The Jazz fell to the Blazers, 104-109 on Monday, but not due to a lack of effort from Donovan Mitchell who put up a laudable performance with 36 points on 12-of-28 shooting (10-of-12 from the line), with seven rebounds, five dimes, two triples and one steal.
Ricky Rubio was not himself yet and came off the bench, so Mitchell had the backcourt pretty much to himself as per his previous games. He's soared to early mid-round value after a rocky start and is showing no signs of slowing down. The same can't be said of Joe Ingles who disappointed with two points (1-of-7 shooting), two rebounds and six assists.
