Dorian Finney-Smith said he is headed for the biggest summer of his life. He knows defense is what got him here but getting consistent with his shot will be his top priority this off-season.
Smith was admittedly banged up this year but still managed to play 81 games, starting 35 of them. The Mavericks often relied on him to guard the best offensive player on the opposing team but he averaged only 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20.3 minutes on 37.2 percent shooting. The 23 year old undrafted rookie may not be ready to make a significant fantasy impact just yet but he has almost certainly secured his role for the Mavs next season.
