Dorian Finney-Smith will start at power forward next to Kristaps Porzingis at centre vs. Bucks on Friday.

Finney-Smith could see some minutes next to Poringas during the season particularly against teams with perimeter-oriented bigs. He is currently only has deep-league value.

Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that former Clippers coach Doc Rivers is expected to meet with the Sixers in the Philadelphia area.

The Sixers are taking their time to execute a thorough coaching search, with an emphasis on a coach that will be able to connect with both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Ty Lye and Mike D’Antoni have already interviewed with Philadelphia and Rivers is another name who has shown the ability to coach big NBA names.

The long-term future of Raptors President Masai Ujiri, whose contract runs out at the end of next season, is a growing concern among the team’s fans, but the chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Larry Tanenbaum, said on Tuesday that there is a plan for it.

The Raptors wanted to take care of their senior management first, with extensions for coach Nick Nurse and general manager Bobby Webster kicking in during the last few weeks. Ujiri is next and any talk about him leaving Toronto seems to be pure speculation at this point.

Jonathan Gibson is expected to sign with the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Gibson has spent the last seven seasons playing in China where he has been a scoring machine. The Ducks were looking to replace Jeremy Lin, who is reportedly looking to return to the NBA, and it looks like they have found their man.

Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com is reporting that Kevin Love has departed the Cavs' minicamp, even though the move is not a surprise since he had indicated ahead of time he wouldn't stay for the duration of the camp.

Four of the Cavs' six oldest players from last season are now not at camp. Tristan Thompson, Andre Drummond and Matthew Dellavedova were absent from the start, while starting small forward Cedi Osman is in Turkey and was unable to travel to Cleveland. This is a great opportunity for the young guys to get some much needed practice time and while it’s good to see Love show up and support his teammates, it’s clear that he may not be a part of the franchise moving forward.

Dion Waiters (sore left groin) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's Finals opener.

Waiters has not played since Game 2 of the second round against Houston but was elevated to questionable by Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. He'll offer up some emergency guard depth for the Lakers but is unlikely to be a prominent part of the rotation.
