Doug McDermott scored 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting (adding three triples) with two rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s win over the Hornets.
McDermott was scorching hot from the field tonight, but provided minimal contributions outside of scoring and treys. Owners can chalk this one up to a hot night and move on, as he is not worth consideration in standard leagues outside of a three point streamer. Kyle O’Quinn (12 points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocks, 18 minutes) also provided a nice lift for the reserve unit. He at least worth a look as a back-end player in standard leagues at the moment, but his upside will be limited by the inconsistent minutes he is likely to see.
