• Dragan Bender had a nice game on Wednesday, finishing a home loss with 13 points, seven rebounds, one block and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Bender had a rough rookie season that was ultimately derailed by injuries and saw himself surpassed by a number of young Suns. He’s looking to reverse that course and assert himself as a big part of the future in Phoenix, and nights like this are a good start. Unfortunately he doesn’t have the same prospect pedigree as his competition and will be an afterthought more often than not. Bender is a great flier pick in deep leagues and should still be held in dynasty formats, but those in standard leagues would need to see him get solid playing time in order to make a move.
