Dragan Bender had the finest game of his young career on Saturday, posting career-bests with 17 points and five 3-pointers to go with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.
Bender played 30 minutes and should continue to see his playing time increase from his season average 20.3 minutes per game after this one. It’s certainly a crowded rotation in Phoenix but he’s got plenty of talent and has really earned the lion’s share of power forward minutes on merit here. Bender has a stat set that lends itself well to fantasy production so deep league owners can feel free to make a speculative pickup. In formats with 16 teams or more he should probably have a home on someone’s roster.
