• Suns’ coach Jay Triano said that Dragan Bender has been bothered by the mask he’s worn since breaking his nose against Chicago in mid-November and he has to earn his playing time moving forward.

“He can’t see peripherally so that makes it tough to rebound when you can’t see sideways,” Triano said. In the past seven games Bender has become the invisible man with 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists combined. He is shooting 20 percent from the field and 25 percent from three-point range. Bender’s regression has caused Triano to play Jared Dudley more minutes as the Croatian forward is trying to get out of the doghouse. Marquese Chriss has been playing well lately but the Suns’ rotations are anyone’s guess at this point and Bender should be held only in deeper leagues.
