Draymond Green finished with 17 points, 11 assists, 10 boards, two steals on 5-0f-11 from the field, 3-of-5 from deep and 4-of-4 from the line in Monday’s series clinching win over the Jazz.
Green is now tied with Tom Gola for the most career triple doubles in postseason franchise history. He won’t be tied with Gola for long they way he has played this year. The biggest boost in the big man’s game during the postseason has been his dramatic improvement from behind the arc. The defensive player of the year candidate has hit 21-of-40 from deep in the 2017 postseason after shooting just 30.8 percent during the regular season. The Warriors are surely hoping he can keep this up, but the odds are with some regression as the competition level increases.
