Dwight Howard posted 16 points, one assist, 15 boards, one block on 6-of-14 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line in Monday’s 111-101 win over the Wizards.
Howard scored 18 points combined over the previous three games and finally busted out in a big way. The big man took 14 shots Monday compared to 15 total over the first three games of the series. Despite not being involved offensively the veteran has still been holding his own on the defensive side where is averaging close to a block and steal per game. He also has pulled down 47 boards. Howard is back to his roots of defense and rebounding, but the Hawks will need more offense from the center to beat the Wizards in game five on Wednesday.
