Dwight Howard racked up 12 points and 11 rebounds on Wednesday, adding a steal, two blocks and five turnovers in a win over the Pistons.
Howard shot 5-of-8 and curiously had two attempts from behind the arc. We wouldn’t count on that continuing and it probably wouldn’t be a tool worth having in his toolbox, anyway, barring some out-of-nowhere accuracy. Howard hit two of his three free throws, but the ugly turnover numbers underscores why he’s not one of the top-end punt options in 9-cat leagues. He should be a late-round value this season.
