Dwight Howard's introductory press conference featured him saying that he'd like to play for eight more years and retire as a member of the Wizards.
Howard is already 32, so we'd be pretty shocked to see him play till 40. We'd be even more stunned to see that he doesn't wear out his welcome in Washington in eight years if he somehow meets that first goal — the Wizards aren't exactly known for their harmonious off-court vibes. Howard also had a pretty odd, pre-written quote about his career to this point. While his free throw percentage will keep him as a late-round option, it's hard to dislike other aspects of his new team. He's got a great distributor in John Wall that should lead to great things in the pick and roll and a pair of top-flight 3-point shooters on the wing, plus minimal depth behind him. It's a nice spot for his fantasy value but his worth will be dependent on your roster build.
