Dwight Powell played 29 minutes in a loss to the Nuggets on Monday, finishing with 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting, one 3-pointer, nine boards, three blocks and no turnovers.
This was an awesome line from Powell, who surprisingly hit a 3-pointer and added three blocks. The Nuggets are usually a good matchup for opposing bigs, but his 29 minutes are promising for those who are stashing him. He’s definitely worth picking up if he’s still available in your league as his pathway to minutes becomes more and more clear. Bogut being hurt and tossed around in trade rumors, while the Mavs continue free-falling this season are good enough signs to own him in even 10-team leagues.
