Dwight Powell played 32 minutes in a loss against the Hornets on Monday, finishing with 15 points on 7-of-11 from the field to go along with 1-of-3 from the line, seven boards, one block and no turnovers.
Powell got the start in the second half and his 31 minutes tonight were good to see. He is a solid per-minute fantasy player, so if he ever consistently gets 28+ minutes, pounce on him. He can help your team in field goal percentage, boards, defensive stats, and he doesn’t turn the ball over. There’s also talk about Celtics possibly going after Andrew Bogut before the trade deadline, which could open up a lot of minutes for Powell.
