Dwyane Wade, as is customary, led the Cavs bench in Monday’s loss with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, one 3-pointer and three steals in 29 minutes.
The Cavs made a great if obvious call in moving Wade to the bench, and he’s still getting healthy minutes while staggering them so he’s in a position to succeed. Now that he’s freed of playing spot up threat in the starting five, a more familiar, dynamic version of Wade has emerged. Father Prime should have no troubles pumping out late-round value but doesn’t have much upside.
