Dylan Windler, in a 97-89 loss to the Spurs in Summer League play, scored a team-high 19 points (8-of-14 FGs, 3-of-8 from deep) in 29 minutes on Monday night.
Windler, the 26th pick in the draft spent four seasons at Belmont, and he looks to be ahead of the Summer League pack already. He also provided six rebounds, three assists and two steals while committing just one turnover tonight. Every season there are a few late draft picks that end up getting significant minutes and it's possible that the mature Windler could find himself in that situation on a team void of much talent in Cleveland.
