• Ed Davis
    PF, Utah Jazz

Even with training camp just beginning, Ed Davis has already drawn praise from his teammates and coaches due to his focus and his work ethic.

Davis was brought in to back up Rudy Gobert and he will replace Derrick Favors as a defensive-minded center for when the two-time Defensive Player of the Year heads to the bench. Last season, while with the Nets, teams shot 3.8 percent fewer shots at the rim when Davis was in the game (second in the league only to Gobert), while he was one of the best rebounders in the NBA, averaging 8.6 boards per game in just 17.9 minutes. His intangibles though is what make him such an important piece and Jazz fans should be excited to see the big man fit in with the Jazz culture.
