Elfrid Payton led the Magic on Saturday with 28 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in a 114-107 loss to the Jazz.
Payton had arguably his best game of the season, shooting 10-of-17 from the field and adding two steals and a block to his line. The third-year point guard hasn’t really had the breakthrough fantasy owners were hoping for this season, with both the shooting percentages and the counting numbers hovering around last season’s averages. Payton was benched earlier in the year for his poor production, but seems firmly entrenched back into the starting lineup for the Magic. He’s a fringe top-100 player in 8-cat leagues so far this season.
