Emmanuel Mudiay logged 30 minutes off the Nuggets’ bench and finished Thursday’s game with 21 points, seven rebounds, four treys and five assists.
He outplayed “the point guard of the future” Jamal Murray, who saw 18 minutes and finished the game with nine points, two assists and two steals. Mudiay had the hot hand was effective both as a scorer and a ball distributor. Murray appears to still be the coach’s favorite and is not too threatened by this game. Still, Mudiay now is worth a serious look deep leagues for teams in need of assists, threes and points. He is still an inefficient shooter and is only converting on 38.9% of his shots from the field this season.
