Enes Kanter played 28 minutes in a win against the Bulls on Monday, finishing with 20 points (9-of-11 from the field, 2-of-3 at the line), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one turnover.
Kanter got a boost in minutes tonight and only partially because of garbage time. He had his way offensively with the Bulls frontcourt on his way to making 9-of-11 from the floor. He’s always been capable of putting up these efficiently scored lines with gaudy rebounding numbers. Unfortunately, he has to play behind Steven Adams who is much more important to the Thunder because of his interior defense and rim protection so don’t get too comfortable with the minutes from tonight.
