Enes Kanter picked up a quiet double-double against the Wolves, finishing Friday’s loss with 11 points and 15 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Considering this is in line with what Kanter has been doing in around 20 minutes per game, you’d be right to be a little let down by this one. Still, it’s good to see that he’s eligible for big workloads despite the Knicks having nothing to play for. As far as shutdown risks go, Kanter should be one of the safer options around. He started next to Michael Beasley, who went for eight points and eight boards in 27 minutes. Nothing exciting there, but at least he’s starting again.
