Enes Kanter (back) is being called as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Cavs.
Wednesday is the last game for the Knicks so we won't see Kanter till next season. He has a player option for 2018-2019 at $18 million that he will likely opt into, but that will also make him an expiring contract which are valuable commodities on the trade market. The Knicks will be looking to stay competitive next season with the eventual return of Kristaps Porzingis (ACL) and they also traded away Willy Hernangomez so Kanter's job is safe. The big man finished as a top-50 player in both per-game and total value playing 71 games. If the Knicks can stay competitive then he will play even more games next season.
