Eric Gordon was held in check on Thursday, scoring only six points (all from deep) in a loss to the Spurs in Game 6.
It was a great bounce back year for Gordon but it ended on a very sour note. He just couldn’t get anything going, missing open threes and failing to do much else in a game where the Rockets desperately needed a second playmaker to step up. The Spurs did a fantastic job running shooters off the 3-point line and contesting shots and EG was one of their many victims. If Gordon can stay healthy, he’ll run it back next year launching from deep with the ultimate green light.
