Eric Gordon played well in Game 7 on Monday against the defending champion Warriors but came up short with 23 points, three boards, six assists, two triples, a steal and a block.
Gordon stepped up with CP3 out but the Rockets continually ran out of offense in the third quarter. It’s hard to win if you only score 15 points in a period and that’s what the Rockets did, shooting 0-of-14 from three while attempting four free throws in the frame. Trevor Ariza was one of those cold shooters, finishing the game 0-of-12 from the field with no points despite logging 42 minutes. He did have two steals, seven boards and two assists.
