Eric Gordon finished his sixth man of the year campaign with a whimper on Wednesday, scoring just 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 27 minutes against the Wolves.
He chipped in three 3-pointers, three boards, two assists and one blocks to close out the season, but generally couldn’t get things going offensively in this one. Despite the lackluster performance tonight Gordon finished the season as a fantasy difference maker, averaging 16.2 points, 3.3 3-pointers, 2.7 boards, 2.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. More importantly, his 75 games played marked his highest total since his rookie season. He’ll make a fine mid to late round pick for owners looking for 3-point production next fall.
