Eric Gordon would not rule out returning from his bruised right knee in time to play against the Warriors on Thursday, but he said it is impossible to predict a timetable until the swelling shrinks.
With Chris Paul and Erick Gordon out on Monday, it was Austin Rivers who started in the backcourt with Gerald Green being the first guy off the bench. Forward James Ennis, who went out with a strained hamstring on December 11th, is also closing in on a return and Mike D'Antoni said he is hopeful to return Thursday in Oakland. Rivers and Green are both nice short term replacements but it will be the James Harden show again until the Rockets are back at full strength.
