Eric Gordon put up 24 points, three steals, a block and two 3-pointers in Friday's home win.
Gordon was part of Houston's hot start and got a number of friendly rolls and tough bounces to go his way early, though he finished the game 8-of-22 from the field. His usage will take a hit but he should remain worth rostering in standard leagues, at least while Chris Paul finds his footing again. The same can't be said of Austin Rivers, who is going to become a drop candidate fairly quickly. He got some of the same breaks that Gordon did tonight and posted 13-5-6 with a triple-one cash counter line in 36 minutes.
