• Eric Gordon
    G, Houston Rockets

Eric Gordon was superb in Thursday's 98-94 victory, scoring a team-high 24 points with three 3-pointers, two steals and a block in 36 minutes of work.

Gordon has defied expectations so far this series, making big plays on both ends of the floor. His defense has been the most shocking thing and he could be asked to step up again in Game 6 if Chris Paul (hamstring) can't go. Mike D'Antoni has already said that Gordon will need to slide into more of a playmaking role if CP3 isn't available, so look for him to get tons of work on Saturday. The Rockets are on the cusp of the Finals and Gordon's play here after a lackluster first couple rounds has been absolutely integral.
