Ersan Ilyasova started practicing "a bit more" on Saturday, got some shots up before Milwaukee's game against the Nets, and showed up with a mask during parts of Monday's session as he is working his way towards returning to basketball action.
As one of the premier charge-takers in the NBA for over a decade, Ilyasova is no stranger to breaking his nose and this was actually the ninth time. The Turkish forward won't be back in action when the Bucks take on the Pistons tonight, but depending on his progress, he may be cleared for Friday or Saturday. He is only an option in deeper leagues and his return won’t have much impact to any of the main rotation guys.
