Evan Fournier was limited to only 57 games in 2017-18 but had a nice bounce back season, returning to top-70 levels of output.
Fournier's return to the middle rounds was driven largely by improved shooting. He shot .462 in his breakout season before dipping back to career norms with a .439 season a year ago, rebounding to .459 this time around. Fournier established new career-highs in points, rebounds, threes and blocks but none of those numbers were wildly different than they were last season. Most of his stats were about the same, though his free throw shooting also stood out as he jumped from .805 to a career-best 86.7 percent. Unfortunately, Fournier was a top-125 option in total value as an ankle injury (eight games) and a sprained MCL (17 games) limited him to only 57 games. He's been pretty consistent since joining the Magic though the fact that he's played in less than 68 games in each of the last two seasons could portend trouble — especially as the bulk of the absences have come from various leg ailments.
