Evan Fournier was benched to start the second half of Friday’s blowout loss to the Celtics, finishing with seven points on 3-of-13 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 19 minutes.
Frank Vogel said he wanted somebody bigger on Kyrie Irving so he went with Jonathon Simmons (14 points, three boards, one three, 24 minutes). We’re not sensing any real change in fantasy value with Simmons being a deep league guy only and Fournier being somebody that folks should have sold high on in the second or third week of the year. Terrence Ross hit just 2-of-3 shots for five points and no other status, blunting his value in 14-16 team leagues.
