Evan Turner finished with 16 points, seven assists, three boards, one steal on 70f-17 from the field in Monday’s 99-98 win over the Spurs.
With the starting Blazers backcourt sitting this one out Turner got more usage. The seven-year pro has been a major bust for the Blazers and fantasy owners this year. He needs to dominate the ball in order to be effective and with Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, there isn’t enough to go around. If the former buckeye can stay healthy next season he may be able to squeak out some value in deep leagues, but his upside is capped. On the brightside for Turner at least he is making 17 million next season.
He could have another large role on Wednesday against the Pelicans for DFS players.
