An enthusiastic Kenneth Faried made his debut for the Rockets on Monday and chipped in 13 points (5-of-7 shooting), six rebounds and one triple in 23 minutes as his team fell to the Sixers 93-121.
He got issued a technical foul after slapping the backboard following his first dunk of the night, a clear expression of celebration and joy to be out there on the floor. He's got some appeal on a team starving for a warm body to fill their frontcourt with Clint Capela out 4-6 weeks. Faried took to the D'Antoni system quickly, even hitting his fourth career 3-pointer in this one. Nene started but logged just eight minutes. Faried is the big man to own right now as he could eventually start for Houston.
