Frank Ntilikina made his home debut on Friday and finished with nine points, two rebounds, five assists and a steal in 22 minutes.
Ntilikina didn’t show any ill effects from his ankle sprain and looks like he could get more minutes pretty quickly. The Knicks made Ron Baker an inactive with an apparent ankle injury while Ramon Sessions was a DNP, so there’s no real telling how the point guard rotation will shake out going forward. Ntilikina’s development is a top priority for New York this year, so look for him to be named the starter by season’s end. Until he gets that designation, however, don’t expect much in the way of fantasy value.
